The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Don't You Fake It - I have to say that when I first heard this album I didn't really like it but after picking the album up again within the last year my mind was completely changed. These guys might not rock as hard as I'm used to but they have the music that will get you to sing along all day. If you ever hate getting songs stuck in your head then pick this album up because this is an album you won't hate to have stuck in your head.

Spoken - A Moment of Imperfect Clarity - Now this is one of the first harder bands that I ever got into and I'm glad I did. Most of the songs on this album stay around in my head and the guys in the band are also amazing people. This album has great parts to sing along to while having parts that get to blood flowing. My favorite song on the album is Promise but it's really hard to say that because this album has a lot of good song on it.

Wolves Among Sleep - Lions, Tigers, Bears - For a band out of Bangor Maine these guys are pretty good. I will have to say you can tell that the production quality on the material isn't the best but they do the best with what they have. I like this album a lot and if you have some time give them a listen.
in reference to the red jumpsuit album...I always think that it's interesting when a band changes their sound a little, it brings something new to their image. I haven't heard the album yet, but I find that songs that easily get stuck in your head that way can either be very big hits or one-time hits and then they're over...which do you think is the case for this album?
ReplyDeleteTrey, I think it would be really awesome to have a local band "feature friday" or something where you showcase local bands from maine and new england only...thats just me but I know sometimes its a big draw to your site if you can be come the "authority" on something local.
